The mother of the family has been undergoing dialysis for the past 9 years and currently requires dialysis three times a week as part of her treatment. The cost of her dialysis comes to approximately Rs. 25,000 every month. In addition, her son, Jobin John, has undergone a kidney transplant and must take essential medicines regularly to protect his health and prevent rejection of the transplant. The cost of his medication is approximately Rs. 10,000 every month. Together, these treatments cost the family around Rs. 35,500 every month, which is an extremely heavy burden for them.
