This request is for the financial assistance for Ms. Rakhi P., a 34-year-old woman from Pappinissery. Ms. Rakhi was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 2. Unfortunately, when she turned 20, the disease began affecting her kidneys. As a result, she underwent a kidney transplant in September 2021, with her mother serving as the donor. Since the transplant, Ms. Rakhi has been required to take immunosuppressive medications for life. The cost of her continuous treatment is overwhelming and unaffordable for her family, as they are all daily wage workers and financially weak. Despite her best efforts, Rakhi is unable to meet the expenses and is currently dependent on her parents for support.
