This educational assistance request is from Mrs. Aleyamma K on behalf of her daughter, Ancy, who is pursuing her General Nursing education at Mar Theodosius Memorial Medical Mission School of Nursing, Bharanikavu, Kollam, India. Ancy’s father passed away from cancer three years ago after undergoing 13 years of treatment. Mrs. Aleamma has been supporting the family by working at a nearby cashew factory. The family lives in a small house and has no other source of income. Despite their financial difficulties, Ancy has dreamed of pursuing a career in nursing. Her educational expenses are approximately INR 145,000 for the first year and INR 110,000 for each of the following two years. The family managed to pay the first-year fees by taking a loan against their gold ornaments.
