Syam Mohan (34) of Randar, Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam was badly hurt in a road accident on 31 July 2025. He had a head injury, a chest injury and an open fracture of his left shin bone (tibia). He has been treated at MOSC Medical College Hospital, Kolenchery ever since. The broken bone has not healed, so he needs a bone graft and an extra plate, followed by about 3 months of rest. He has been unable to work for over a year, and the family has already spent Rs. 3,36,125 on his treatment.
